Meet Nort Salz, Founder

As Founder of Deep Customer Connections, Nort specializes exclusively in helping P&C carriers grow their business through this value proposition: If you make it easier for your agents to write more business with you, they will. Leading carriers nationwide use his research and consulting services to improve their competitive performance with independent agents.
Earlier in his career, Nort served in a variety of industries, including financial services, biotech, manufacturing, high tech, pharmaceuticals and consumer products. He held management positions at Colt Industries (Fairbanks Weighing Division), Anheuser-Busch Companies, and ComputerVision Corporation. His interest in P&C carrier/agent relationships began with his consulting work at Rath & Strong, Inc. and Situation Management Systems, Inc.
Nort speaks at industry and corporate events, and his articles and interviews have appeared in Insurance Journal, Carrier Management, The Standard, Property and Casualty Insurance, and The Association for Quality and Participation. He earned both an undergraduate degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Illinois. He raises specialty grass-fed beef, and he likes to ski and play at the ocean with his extended family.
