Meet John Zurich, Senior Associate

John Zurich

John has over 30 years as an experienced, hands-on leader with a successful background in developing and executing strategic initiatives through collaboration with executive management and cross-functional teams.

For over 13 years John worked for SoftLanding Systems, a company specializing in change management software for the IBM i platform. In his roles as Director of New Business Development, Director of International Sales, Product Manager and Systems Analyst, and through completion of special projects, John has worked on virtually every aspect of the business including personnel management, product licensing, sales management, quality assurance, business systems analysis, financial analysis, channel sales management, product marketing, product pricing, and international law.

Prior to his tenure at SoftLanding, John held positions as Operations Manager for Harrisville Designs (fiber arts), President and co-owner of Williams Machine Company (machining, industrial pumps) and Vice President and General Manager of Bomar Inc. (marine hardware).

Through his eclectic management background, John has developed a keen insight into the impact of business processes on sales, service, productivity, and financial performance.

John has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Arts Education from Western Washington University and an MBA from Boston University (2006). John is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP, 2009).

When not working, John loves to build (small timber frames), sail (on lakes and oceans) and garden (fruits and vegetables).
